The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Pateen, trained by Shane Kieran Ryder, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal, other than to have a nick on his right hind heel.

M.A. Enright, rider of Tolah (GB) trained by James G.Sheehan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action and was pulled up thereafter.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Delegate (GB) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got very tired.

M.P. Fogarty, rider of Luckey Seven trained by Eoin Doyle, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action and was pulled up thereafter.

A representative of Mrs. John Harrington, trainer of Weather Watch, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge was found to have burst a blood vessel.

J.J. Burke, rider of Mick Thonic (FR) trained by C.A.Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the third last and was pulled up thereafter.

P. Corkery, trainer of Off The Hoof, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was showing signs that she may be comming into season.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Rainy Day Dylan, trained by S. Donohoe, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Mr L.J. McGuinness, rider of Rainy Day Dylan trained by S. Donohoe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped and he pulled his mount up thereafter.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Simenon trained by W.P. Mullins was found to be post race normal.
